Alexandria Soapstone
Alaxandria Soapstone is a traditional soapstone that comes from the oldest domestic soapstone quarry located in Virginia. This striking material has become quite popular, being featured in countless projects throughout the US including high-school labs and monuments. Minas has a light grey background with minimal marble-like patterned white quartz veins. When treated with oil, the background will turn black and the white veins will remain unchanged and boldly contrast against the black background.
